What is the Children in Care Council?

It’s a group of children and young people aged 11 to 17 who meet once a month. They act as a voice for every child in the care of Warwickshire County Council. It’s a safe place to share experiences and expectations, and provides an opportunity to meet friends, but most importantly to make change.

Who can get involved

Young people aged 11 to 17 who are currently in the care of Warwickshire County Council.

What is involved

  • Help improve social care services in Warwickshire.
  • Meet every month to share views, ideas and experiences with decision makers.
  • Take part in staff recruitment for Warwickshire County Council Council.
  • Plan and deliver training and events.

Benefits
